start by being a consultant to SME’s (small businesses) – make yourself known, give rates for work (ie networking, updating software etc) do some networking until you build up a customer base. No point just opening a shop and expecting people to come to you, as there is too much competition in the commercial sector

You will never be able to compete with the big boys, Dell etc.
By the time you build the machine, after getting parts, install the OS and drivers load other software, get the MS updates where is the profit?
It will take you hours to do one machine and how much do you plan on selling it for?, what will it have better than a Dell etc?, remembering the majority of people don’t have a clue and will not understand to much technical lingo.
You would be much better to offer to repair ie get rid of viruses, fix software conflicts, upgrades. You can start it very easily by advertising around your uni and local community, how many people do you think have problems?, how many guys do you think look at porn and mess their machine up?, I can tell you I do very well doing what I have just outlined to you. .
Easy money and you don’t need to hold onto computers or parts to do it.
Get a portable machine like a shuttle so you can remove hard drives from infected computers and scan them, it is so much more quick, it will also allow you to recover data if you have to format the persons drive.

I do recommend you to start from autopilot home business. It runs automatically so you can earn money even while you are sleeping. You can make money just overnight and also can have monthly residual income but decision is yours. Good luck & God bless you!

I don’t think you would succeed, as so many people already build their own computers, and those who don’t are usually more than happy with the low-priced, budget machines on the market at the minute.
